45th Anniversary Marketing Grant Cycle

About the Grant Cycle 

To celebrate our 45th Anniversary, the Wayne County Foundation is opening a special grant cycle to provide marketing and/or communications support to local nonprofits. Nine $5,000 grants will be awarded to organizations that:

  • Have communications plans in place to engage with their audiences, but need additional resources to bring them to life,
  • Or willing to create and implement a marketing and communications plan.

Priority will be given to organizations with an operating budget of $250,000 or less. Application opens June 1st and closes June 28th.

Some Details to Consider

Here are some details to consider before applying:

  • What are my marketing communications needs?
  • Who is the target audience my organization should reach?
  • What resources do I need in my organization’s marketing?
  • Who will manage my organization’s marketing?
  • How will marketing be sustainable after the grant?

Marketing Project Ideas

Here is a list of some potential marketing projects:

  • Video production support
  • Social media advertising
  • Brand development
  • Canva or Adobe subscription
  • Print and Radio Advertising 
  • Graphic Design 
  • Brochures 

Information Sessions

The Foundation is hosting two virtual information sessions at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on May 21st. Registration for both sessions can be found at the button below. Organizations will only need to attend one of the sessions.
