Eastern Indiana Human Resources – $600
Annual scholarship awarded in honor of Joseph McDonald, to an Indiana resident, preference given to a Wayne County resident.  Must be a full or part-time student registered in an accredited college or university, preference given to those with a career goal in human resources, or related fields such as organizational leadership, business administration, or management.  Applicant should have financial need and demonstrate academic achievement, a positive contribution to community, college, or work.

Dr. Tom H. and Annadell S. Ebbinghouse Scholarship for Nurses – 1 award of $5,300, 1 award of $3,650 (tuition only)
The scholarship will benefit a Wayne County resident who has been accepted into the BSN degree program at Indiana University East, pursuing the opportunity for RN licensure upon graduation and who at the time of application for the scholarship, has a 3.0 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to a student who plans to work in Wayne County following graduation, as determined via an essay required from each applicant.

Eileen M. Hunt Nursing and Allied Health – Multiple awards possible; total available $40,000
To provide scholarships for students to attend Indiana University East or Ivy Tech Community College in Richmond, Indiana, for the purpose of majoring in programs relating to nursing or allied health.

Frances Mayhew, R.N. – $1,650
Nursing student pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Masters degree.

Reid Hospital Dependent Scholarship   10 awards of $1,000 each
If you were not awarded as a graduating high school senior, you may apply as a current college student.  One time award.  Applicant must be a dependent child of a current Reid Hospital employee and pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited university or college. Applicant must be full time course of study in health care related field typically found in a hospital including but not limited to nursing, radiology, respiratory, laboratory, pharmacy, rehabilitative services or medical records.

Anne E. Sperling BSN – $1,500
Exemplary registered nurse employed at Reid Hospital in good standing seeking a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from I.U. East.

Anne E. Sperling MSN – $700
Exemplary registered nurse employed at Reid Hospital in good standing seeking a Master of Science Nursing degree enrolled full or part-time at an accredited school.

Frank B. Adney Jr. M.D. Scholarship for Nursing – Multiple awards; total available $5,000
For educational scholarships for students accepted into the BSN degree program at Indiana University East, pursuing the opportunity for RN licensure upon graduation.  Scholarships shall be awards to students who have demonstrated and continue to maintain high scholastic standing and who validate financial need.

L.E. Gibbs Memorial – $400
Third year student with financial need studying law enforcement at I.U. East.

Benjamin F. and Lanette E. Young Student Scholarship Benefiting Ivy Tech Community College Richmond Region and Indiana University East – $1,000
To provide support for educational scholarships for students who graduate from Ivy Tech Community College Richmond Region and attend Indiana University East, and in particular to such students who meet the following qualifications:  African-American Ivy Tech Richmond Region associate degree awardees who demonstrate financial need and who will be attending Indiana University East during the next academic year.

Wayne County College Fund  multiple awards; total available $5,586
Renewable last dollar scholarships based on unmet financial need for students attending a Wayne County college.
